I am finding this whole sordid story to be both enlightening, and so very sad.

It brings to mind the saying, “You can’t help a man understand something, if his job depends on him not understanding that.” I think FV has more tied up in NOT understanding, than he believes he could gain by understanding. I believe Eve, Amber, Celeste, and the others who claim harm and manipulation, experienced it. And I am sure that FV thinks of himself as a good guy, misunderstood and badly used.
